Our client, an international company that offers its products to thefood and beverage industryis looking for a Global QA to work internationally from the office os Valencia (Spain).

Your main functions will be:

• Approval of raw materials and vendors for the company globally together with colleagues in Global Quality Assurance and stakeholders in other global functions.

• Completes risk assessment of raw materials based on supplier documentation; prepare raw material specifications, maintenances of raw material documentation.

• Completes raw material approval flow and specification control according to regulatory requirements (EU, FCC, CFR, CODEX) and business needs.

• Develop and maintain systems and tools to secure continued compliance to global requirements.

• Completes maintenance schedule for raw material and documentation updates; includes quality, food safety and regulatory updates.

• Maintain requirements for global approval of raw materials; includes Kosher and Halal.

• General support to the business on raw material questions and issues (Business Support, Product Managers, Sourcing, Innovation, Regulatory Affairs, Master Data etc.

• Subject matter expert on defined areas within raw material/vendor area.

• Global supplier audit team member; complete audits per schedule; includes audit follow up.

• Raw material alert site: monitor alerts, maintain status, complete investigation per global process flow.

• Support global QA team.

• Support during internal and external audits related to vendor and raw material management.

The main requirements for the position are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific discipline; min 2 years of experience in product development, food safety, quality, or regulatory in the food business.

•ISO 22000 Auditor/Lead Auditor Certified
