Our client is a company specialized in the construction of large industrial projects for Oil&Gas. Currently, they are strengthening their team by looking for an Industruial Safety Engineer (m/f) to support their project in Lisbon.
Função
Reporting to the Department Manager, this professional will be responsible for:
- Conduct fire risk assessments for industrial design projects;
- Develop and integrate fire safety solutions within plant designs, including sprinkler systems, emergency exits, and fire alarms;
- Review designs for compliance with current codes and standards and propose solutions to ensure regulatory alignment;
- Perform basic and detailed engineering, including hydraulic design and calculation reports;
- Execute field engineering activities, commissioning, and start-up for fire protection systems;
- Prepare tender proposals and conduct technical evaluations of suppliers;
- Train operators and junior engineers to ensure safe system operations;
- Stay updated on relevant regulations and legislation for fire safety.
Requisitos
- Degree in Engineering;
- Professional experience in similar functions;
- Knowledge of relevant technical standards (e.g., NFPA, ISO, or local codes);
- Skills in field engineering and commissioning of safety systems;
- Experience in training operators and mentoring junior engineers;
- Teamplayer and availability for travel abroad.
