Our client’s Portugal branch is looking for a highly motivated *Senior Compliance Officer* to join their team.

As one of the most recognized and competitive publicly listed brokers in the market, our client employs over 1,300 professionals worldwide and has been present in Portugal since 2010, with operations spanning Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

Your Responsibilities

* Managing regulatory reporting to institutions such as CMVM, Bank of Portugal, Tax Agency, and others
* Monitoring, reviewing, and adapting to regulatory changes
* Updating, translating, and implementing internal procedures in line with regulatory requirements (CMVM)
* Preparing and maintaining legal documentation
* Providing legal and compliance support to the Customer Service Department
* Conducting quality control of Customer Service processes

What We’re Looking For

* Degree in Law and/or Business Administration
* Strong knowledge of Portuguese and European financial legislation (MiFID II, AMLD, MiFIR, LMV)
* 3+ years of experience in the legal or compliance departments of financial institutions
* Understanding of finance, stock markets, and derivative products
* Proficiency in Excel
* Training or certification in Compliance (nice to have)
