Head of Product & Product Operations (M/F) – Lisboa

Introdução

Claire Joster is currently recruiting for a reference client in car rental services, who aims to strengthen its internal structure with the integration of a Head of Product & Product Operations (M/F).

Função

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute the product roadmap for internal business systems and the global car rental booking platform;
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and commercial teams to align product priorities with company objectives;
  • Serve as both strategist and practitioner – contributing directly to product definition, requirements, and delivery;
  • Lead cross-functional planning sessions to evaluate feature impact, dependencies, and timelines;
  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog.

Internal Tools & Platform Ownership

  • Own the vision and evolution of the client internal systems, ensuring tools effectively support global sales, operations, and customer support teams;
  • Partner with the Director of Platform and Corporate Technology to improve integration across systems (Contact Center applications, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, inventory management);
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and enhance system usability;
  • Drive innovation and modernization within the client car rental booking platform, focusing on performance, conversion, and customer experience.

Product Operations & Delivery Excellence

  • Establish and manage product operations processes to ensure consistent planning, communication, and reporting across teams;
  • Implement tools and frameworks for roadmap visibility, release management, and performance tracking;
  • Coordinate release cycles with QA, engineering, and operations to ensure stable and high-quality deployments;
  • Track KPIs such as system uptime, product adoption, and delivery velocity to measure impact and guide improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as the key liaison between technology and business functions to translate operational challenges into product solutions;
  • Partner with operations, customer service, and finance teams to prioritize initiatives with the highest business value;
  • Communicate progress, trade-offs, and results to executive leadership in a clear, data-driven manner.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and mentor a small, high-performing team of product managers, project owners and business analysts;
  • Promote a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and collaborative problem-solving;
  • Foster close alignment between product, engineering, and design to accelerate innovation and delivery.

Requisitos

  • 8-10 years of experience in product management, including 3+ years in a leadership or head-of-function role;
  • Proven success leading hands-on product development for internal business tools or transactional platforms;
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional delivery;
  • Experience working with SaaS, API-driven systems, and data integrations;
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution.
