EPC Project Control Manager (m/f) – Lisboa

Our client, a leading company specializing in large-scale industrial projects worldwide, is looking to strengthen its internal structure by hiring a Project Control Manager (m/f) for its office in Lisbon.

Mission

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this professional will play a key leadership role in driving and optimizing the Project Control and Analysis team, with a strong focus on EPC projects across the Oil & Gas and/or Petrochemical industries.

Função

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Project Control & Analysis team, covering Project Planning, Cost Control, and Project Analytics.
  • Develop and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with business goals.
  • Oversee project planning systems, cost management, quality, safety, and document control processes.
  • Define and optimize WBS (Work Breakdown Structure), CBS (Cost Breakdown Structure), progress measurement methods, and forecasting models.
  • Implement and manage data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, advanced Excel).
  • Ensure seamless integration with ERP systems, Primavera P6, and other project management platforms.
  • Deliver strategic analysis and customized reports to support Project Managers and senior leadership.
  • Act as a key partner in decision-making, driving improvements in project performance and execution.

Additional Information

  • Work Mode: 100% On-site, with 1 remote day per week.
  • Head of Project Control, Planning & Analytics – Specialized in EPC Oil & Gas Global Projects.

Requisitos

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Senior experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Refining, Mining, or Petrochemical industries.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Proven experience in team management and leadership positions.
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
  • Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI).
  • Results-driven, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Availability to travel internationally.
  • Residence in Lisbon area or willingness to relocate.
