Medical Sales Representative (m/f) – Coimbra

Danone is a company specialized in the Multinational Consumer Goods Company. Currently, they are strengthening their team by looking for an Medical Sales Representative (m/f) to support their global projects in Coimbra.

Função

  • Represent the company’s clinical nutrition portfolio in hospitals, health centers (ECCI), and elderly care homes.
  • Conduct scientific and product training sessions for HCPs, supporting their clinical decision-making and product usage.
  • Develop and implement local growth strategies, identify new opportunities, and support clinical events and educational sessions.
  • Analyze clinical and sales data to guide strategy and planning.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with HCPs, acting as a knowledgeable and reliable partner.
  • Manage the Coimbra territory with autonomy: plan and optimize visit routes, maintain accurate records, and ensure consistent coverage.
  • Be available for occasional travel, evening work, and weekend events.
  • Adapt messaging to different stakeholders while maintaining scientific credibility.
  • Deliver impactful clinical presentations and product detailing.
  • Understand institutional protocols, clinical guidelines, and scientific literature.
  • Work in alignment with the workings of the Portuguese public and private healthcare systems (SNS and private sector), including hospital acquisition processes and therapeutic decision-making.
  • Maintain a solution-focused mindset, professional ethics, and team spirit, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet ambitious goals.
  • Embrace change and innovation with a proactive, opportunity-driven approach.

Requisitos

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Pharmacy, or Health Sciences.
  • Previous experience as a Hospital Medical Representative.
  • Resident in the Coimbra area.
  • Proficient in digital tools and CRM systems (MCE).
  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Strong communication and technical selling skills, with a patient-centric and result-driven approach.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales reports, market data, and clinical feedback.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical nutrition and experience in specialized therapeutic areas is a plus.
