Introdução
Our client is a company specialized in the construction of large industrial projects. Currently, they are strengthening their team by looking for a Project Manager (m/f) to support their global projects.
Função
- General coordination of the overall project engineering activities;
- Coordination of full Project engineering team including planning of the availability of the human resources;
- Set, monitor, manage, escalate deliverables and milestones from direct reports ensuring alignment with project plan, budget, quality, safety & commercial standards;
- Manage scope and definitions, scope changes and best solutions for changes;
- Pre-approve appropriate deliverables for relevant committees;
- Oversee compliance with laws and regulations;
- Identify, quantify, assess and mitigate new technical risk factors;
- Support establishment of technical and professional policies, practices, proceeds & standards;
- Take responsibility to meet HSE objectives and targets;
- Apply maintenance and operating philosophies;
- Articulate with Management all project decisions above its responsibility level;
- Coordinate all contacts with Client, writing letters and answering to its requests;
- Support project supervisory meetings;
- Preparation of the project reports needed;
- Lead project technical and commercial meetings with Client;
- Definition of the time schedules together with the Time Scheduler and the other project members;
- Coordination of interfaces with the other departments.
Requisitos
- At least 6-7 years work experience as project manager/ project engineering manager in the petrochemical or oil & gas sector;
- Preferred experience: Power, Oil & Gas, Refining or Petrochemical related projects;
- Strongly valued experience in Methanol/Ammonia Engineering or Petrochemical/ Oil & Gas projects in USA/ North Americ (not mandatory);
- University degree in Engineering;
- Advanced or native English domain;
- Target oriented and team player;
- Availability for regular traveling and spend some periods abroad as required.
