Our client is a company specialized in Engineering Consulting and Industrial Project Management. The organization is currently strengthening its team and is looking to hire a Project Scheduling Engineer (m/f) to support its global projects based in Lisbon.
Função
Reporting to the Head of Project , this professional will be responsible for:
- Develop, analyse and control project schedules from initial planning through final delivery.
- Review and validate contractor and supplier schedules, including deviation analysis and extension‑of‑time requests.
- Collect and analyse planning inputs from Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Project Management to ensure integrated schedules.
- Implement and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for scope control and progress monitoring.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of schedule dates, milestones and reported progress.
- Monitor baselines, perform what‑if scenario analyses, and support the development of contingency plans.
- Prepare and update progress and planning reports for project teams and clients, including SPI, CPI, MTA, S‑curves and look‑ahead schedules.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning and scheduling processes, tools and methodologies.
Work Arrangement: On‑site (with the possibility of 1 day of remote work per week).
Requisitos
- Degree or Bachelor’s in Engineering;
- Preferred experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, Refining, Mining or Industrial Chemical/Petrochemical industries;
- Proficiency in project scheduling tools (Primavera P6);
- Availability to travel and work abroad;
- Language skills: fluent English;
- Target-oriented, proactive and a strong team player.
