Mission:
The Regional Sales Manager – Germany will be instrumental in expanding the company’s reach in the German market, fostering relationships with engineering firms, shipyards, and other stakeholders within the naval industry. This role will serve as the primary driver of sales activities, working directly with clients to ensure the company’s products are specified in shipbuilding projects’ technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the German market, focusing on the naval and maritime sectors.
- Identify and cultivate key accounts within the shipbuilding and engineering sectors, establishing lasting partnerships.
- Actively engage in pre-sales activities, providing technical consultations and ensuring the products align with industry safety and sealing standards.
- Support marketing and sales efforts to strengthen the brand’s market presence, including organizing and attending industry events in Germany and Europe.
- Ensure the company’s products are specified in technical requirements for new and ongoing shipbuilding projects.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and account management to contract negotiation and close, while also overseeing after-sales support to ensure client satisfaction.
Regularly report to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to align product development with market needs.
Profile:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally with a background in technical sales in the maritime or naval sectors.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of safety, sealing, or critical infrastructure products preferred, especially in naval applications.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and strategic sales planning abilities.
- Languages: Native German, with advanced English proficiency.
- Working Style: Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely with travel as required within Germany.
- Additional Requirements: Willingness to travel, primarily within Germany, to meet with clients and attend industry events.
